National Grid Electricity Distribution plc intends to buy prefabricated glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) and anti-vandal steel enclosures, roofs and doors for outdoor-rated equipment in secondary substations. The goods will support NGED electricity networks operating at 11kV and 6.6kV. The procurement is divided into two lots: GRP enclosures, and anti-vandal steel enclosures. Products under both lots are intended for delivery across NGED sites in the Midlands, South West and South Wales.
