Summary of the contracting process

South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust are procuring occupational health services for their organisations, with the opportunity also available to other Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration Trusts. The award decision is due by 14 December 2026. The contract is scheduled to run from 15 April 2027 to 14 April 2030, with two possible 24-month extensions and a maximum end date of 14 April 2034. Its estimated value is £12.6 million excluding VAT, or £15.12 million including VAT. Evaluation is weighted 70% quality and 30% cost.
