Strategic Charging Infrastructure (SCI) programme - Electrical Infrastructure Strategic Advice
Notice Description
The engagement of a specialist Electrical Infrastructure Strategic Advisor via EPNC Energy with specialist electrical sector capability, providing senior level technical and strategic advice specifically in respect to the energy transmission and distribution sector, to supplement the strategic charging infrastructure team. This will deliver electrical infrastructure strategic advice and deep electrical sector knowledge to support NH with the work within the Strategic Charging Infrastructure (SCI) programme. This will enable the delivery of a RIS 3 objective to support industry to accelerate the roll-out of Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging, including for HGVs across the network. The provision of senior level technical and strategic advice specifically in respect to the energy transmission and distribution sector. The ongoing expertise needed from EPNC Energy includes assessing the risk, creating and assuring solutions whilst engaging with National Grid, Distribution Network Operators (DNO's) and other connection providers.
Procurement Information
EPNC Energy are the incumbent and have extensive specialist knowledge and experience. Directly awarding to them ensures a continuity of service and performance having been sub-contracted via a previous framework. Value for Money can be demonstrated via comparative day rate charges.
