Commission Requirements:The purpose of this commission is to appoint creative content creators and / or a company specializing in the field of digital marketing who can support us in promoting the achievements of WHS and security messaging during 2022/2023. The successful candidate will be expected to create, manage and monitor a digital promotional campaign.In addition, the successful candidate will need to produce creative and varied content and upload content on Wales Slate social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, in both Welsh and English.The commission's main tasks and outputs are as follows:o Create effective and unique organic digital promotional campaigns that will attract attention and raise awareness of the messages on Wales Slate social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram;o Create positive messages on social media and through press releases about the achievement of the World Heritage Site through the LleCHI project (National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig and the Snowdonia Partnership and Conservation work in progress) events, community projects, Heritage Lottery Fund sponsorship, interpretation installation etc.o Use #llechicymru #walesslate for the direct work of Wales Slate or #mwynallechi #morethanslate for anything that deals with the industry in a different context indirectly to the designationo Create original and unique digital assets using photos, video, Gifs, graphics and text. There are assets available such as photos and videos, but the successful candidate may need to source further photos and videos.o Create at least two original posts a week with the aim of generating high levels of engagement and reach, which will also include at least:* one post a month for 'Slate People', Slate People | LLECHI CYMRU* one post a month for visiting and respecting the landscape safely* one fact and picture a month for one of six WHS areaso Use the Wales Slate themes and key messages from the Interpretation Strategy and Marketing Guide to create postso Use information from the Slate Landscape Enjoyment report by Snowdonia Active to create effective and engaging safety messages to share weekly (enclosed).o Promote messages from the Gwynedd Slate Communities: Care and Conservation document and the community events that will be organised to coincide with the launch of the documento Share content from other accounts that belong to or support the WHS eg, National Slate Museum, Talyllyn Railway, Porthmadog Maritime Museum etc.o publicise any other relevant content / information on social media / that we have received.o Assist the Wales Slate Team in monitoring the accounts, responding to queries / comments, concealing any inappropriate, unacceptable and abusive comments;o Promote specific dates in the UNESCO Calendar / World Heritage Site eg One year since the North West Wales Slate Landscape Designation as a World Heritage Site 28 July 2022, 50 years World Heritage Convention 26 November 2022, International World Heritage Day 18 April 2023 etcYou will need to ensure that:o content is bilingual;o rights are in place to use any images;o public access is permitted to sites before sharing informationo content is as agreed at meetings to ensure consistency with messages;o other relevant accounts (which cover the whole of Gwynedd) are tagged, including Gwynedd Council, Snowdonia Mountains and Coast, Snowdonia National Park to reach a wider audience, and to maximize engagement and reach of messages;o any publication is in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines (bearing in mind that guidelines and restrictions may vary during the contract period);The successful candidate will be expected to reach and report on the following outputs during the commission period:* Create at least two original posts a week with the aim of generating high levels of engagement and reach;* Share at least two posts from other accounts that support the WHS a week* Monitor and record the volume of engagement with content on various accounts with the aim of maintaining or increasing coverage during the commission period;* Monitor and record the reach of content on various accounts with the aim of maintaining or increasing volumes during the commission period.As the commission is for organic digital promotional campaigns, it is not necessary to include details of cost promotion.
