Maintenance and Servicing of the Council's Goods and Passenger Lifts
Notice Description
The contract comprises the inspection, testing, maintenance, cleaning and repairs of all lift services and equipment together with written reports, asset lists and drawings (where required) to all Council operated lifts.The lifts include hydraulic, traction, platform and stair lifts together with hoists, servicing to be monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and half yearly depending upon the individual requirement of each lift.Repairs to be carried out if required.The Contractor will be required to provide a 24 hour callout service for the duration of the contractNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:As part of your submission, bidders will be required to demonstrate their previous approach/experience in delivering Community Benefits and are required to submit a Method Statement in the form of a "Community Benefits Plan" setting out how they will incorporate and deliver "Community Benefits" through this appointment within Blaenau Gwent.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
