Initially the contract was intended for the managed supply and delivery of building maintenance products required to improve and maintain the Council's housing stock to the Welsh Government's Welsh Housing Quality Standard ("WHQS"). The contract was then intended to develop to supply all reactive building maintenance products required during the stated period. The supplier was to act as supply partner to the Council and its nominated contractors for key components associated with all internal and external works for housing improvement and maintenance.
