NOTE - This is a contract modification notice only, not a new procurement process. In 2016, Newport City Council awarded a 8 year cost-recovery only contract (with option to extend for 2 years) for the collection of dry recycling and food waste from households and council buildings. The services included the purchase and delivery of containers for the containment of dry recycling and food waste and sales of collected dry recycling. The contract has been extended by the stated 2 years, and is now being modified to include the collection of dry recycling and food waste from non domestic premises.
