Notice Description
Trivallis is seeking the appointment of contractors to an initial 4-year Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of works in relation to access adaptation works.Please note that Trivallis, utilising the Government procurement policy notice 11/20 have opted to reserve the opportunity to suppliers located within the geographical location of South Wales with a view to support domestic supply chains and promote resilience and capacity within the region. Any bids received from contractors/suppliers who are based outside of South Wales will not be taken forward to evaluation.The DPS will consist of 4 lots, as detailed below:Lot 1 - Walk in ShowersLot 2 - External AdaptationsLot 3 - Internal AdaptationsLot 4 - Electrical AdaptationsBidders may choose to bid for One Lot, Multiple Lots, or all Lots dependant on the disciplines that bidders can deliver.A commercial pricing document has been included within the commercial envelope of the e tender Wales platform.Trivallis requires bidders to complete pricing schedules for the following Lots (LOT 1, 2 and 4).Please note that the prices submitted for LOTS 1, 2 and 4 will serve as a ceiling schedule, meaning that any commercial prices submitted for future calls for competition cannot exceed the pricing schedule.Commercial pricing for requirements under Lot 3 will be sought through a further call for competition process as and when Trivallis engage the DPS to fulfil a requirement.Trivallis reserves the right to stop the operation of the DPS at any time.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:The RequirementTo align with the Trivallis commitment to well-being impact and community benefits, we have developed a Wellbeing Impact document detailing the requirement: Appendix 9 - Wellbeing Impact Document.The wellbeing impact document is designed to support Trivallis in achieving our goals in delivering well-being impact values, in accordance with the requirements outlined in our business contracts.As part of the contract delivery, our contracted partners must implement Wellbeing initiatives equivalent to a specified percentage of the contract spend.As part of our tender process, we invite bidders to select one of the following options:1 - A direct donation into the Wellbeing investment fundor2 - Contractors may choose to deliver Wellbeing initiatives by selecting to deliver and support a community project.This contract has a potential duration of 7 years. For each year of the contract, on the anniversary date, the successful contractor is required to review and choose an option (or options) from the menu to deliver in that specific year once again.It is crucial to note that failure to select an option will render the tender bid non-compliant, resulting in exclusion from the tender process.Responses to this section will be reviewed by our Senior Manager of Partnerships. If your tender bid is successful, they will contact you after the contract is agreed upon to collaborate on an individualised Wellbeing impact Plan.By fostering partnerships and prioritising well-being, we believe we can create a lasting positive impact on our communities and the lives of our residents.Your response must detail how you propose to meet this requirement.
