Award of Envelope : Free Post printing to Royal Mail requirements
Notice Description
SPT require the following items printed.1. See attached approved proof from Royal Mail. Require Pre-paid/business reply envelopes - 7,500 (non- window) C5 size, white/gummed.A) Envelopes must be made of paper and should be at least 70g per square metre (gsm).B) Font to be used for the licence plate area and address area should be OCR B 12 point - all black print on white envelope.C) Indicia colour and print quality (top right section) - the indicia colour must be black and must be printed at a minimum resolution of 300dpi.D) Print Contrast Ratio - the contrast ratio between the background and the address /licence details must be at least 50%. The typeface should never be lighter than the background colour. The licence barcode has a 40% ratio.E) The paper on which the address is printed must be more than 85% opaque to prevent any character on the reverse side showing through.We need the envelope to comply with Royal Mail's specifications as defined in the "Response Services User Guide" which can be found at royalmail.com/responseservices.Delivery address - Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, Buchanan Bus Station, 10 Killermont Street, Glasgow G2 3NWPlease provide quotation on the pricing schedule provided.Whilst we have requested cost for FSC or Recycled if this is not possible please quote on what you can supply.SPT require a quick turn around on this, can you confirm on the pricing schedule if these items could be delivered by 6th September 2016. If this is not possible, please state the earliest possible delivery date.Proofs of both items will be required.
