Notice Description
SPT is seeking a renew its current Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of SPT Advertising Space and Infrastructure contract (Lot 1) within the Glasgow subway (15 subway stations), Bus Stations and any other advertising channel or mode identified during the contract. In addition a further Lot (Lot 2) will be included for the Supply, Installation, Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of SPT Advertising Space and Infrastructure for an initial two large format advertising sites on SPT property with the potential for further sites during the duration of the awarded contract. A further call for competition will be made on reduced timescales, however companies can express an interest in this notice by emailing procurement@spt.co.uk. SPT may engage with suppliers expressing an interest to establish further market information prior to issuing a tender.
Lot Information
Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of SPT Advertising Space and Infrastructure
LOT 1 SPT seeks to appoint a forward looking and innovative Supplier with the required and proven experience to manage, exploit and develop the full range of advertising and promotional opportunities available from SPT's wide-ranging activities and existing infrastructure which includes static and digital modes. The successful Contractor's prime objective will be to maximise revenues from the core advertising estate (Subway and Bus Stations ) highlighting, developing and exploiting new revenue streams and generating new opportunities within these areas as well as examining all other modes eg. ticketing,vinyl wrapping etc. etc... SPT will require space for its own advertising.
Renewal: 1) The renewal of this contract will be dependant on the successful tenderers submission. 2) Previous contracts have been awarded for up to a maximum of 5 years generally three plus two however other options may be offered within tenders.
Large Format Advertising: Supply, Install, Management, Development, Selling & Maintenance of SPT Advertising Space and InfrastructureThe contracting authority has identified an initial two sites capable of displaying large format advertising and can potentially offer an indicative pipeline of six or more future sites to be brought forward during the duration of the awarded contract. The maximum duration of the contract wil be determined on the basis of the time that the successful tenderer could reasonably be expected to install and recoup on the investment made in operating the contract together with a return on investment to SPT taking account of the initial two sites and future opportunities.. 1) This is a new opportunity to install and develop further advertising infrastructure. 2) No contract duration has been set and tenderers will be requested to put forward differing options with a final decision being made prior to award of contract.
Renewal: Renewal / duration of contract will be made on award of contract with the duration of the contract being determined on the basis of the time that the successful tenderer could reasonably be expected to install and recoup the investment made in operating the contract together with the return on investment to SPT.
