The employment of a provider to deliver a comprehensive Void Management and Preferred Energy Supplier Partnership Service to all void houses and re-lets. This partnership is designed to jointly benefit the Council, Tenants and the Service Provider. The Service Provider will become the Council's "default provider" for both Gas and Electricity for all void houses and at the time of re-let.

The Council benefits through administrative savings arising from a single point of contact and tailored billing solutions for Void Addresses which in turn is expected to reduce void times and increase revenue. The tenants benefit through competitive tariffs and having surety of supplier at the time of re-let.
