The Authority is seeking Contractor(s) for Laboratory Plastic-ware, Glassware & Sundries, required for the efficient functioning of laboratories in Higher and Further Education Institutions.
Lot Information
Supply of Glassware
A variety of glassware such as flasks, beakers and slides suitable for a range of laboratory applications is required. Glassware supplied must be fit for purpose, meet descriptions advertised, and where required manufactured to withstand the many rigours of laboratory work such as temperature fluctuation and storing volatile compounds.
Renewal: The Framework will run for 36 months, with the option to extend for a period of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutional requirements
Supply of Laboratory Personal Protective EquipmentIn order to minimise the risk of injury or illness to laboratory staff and visitors, certain protective garments and implements are required. PPE supplied must meet relevant standards outlined within the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/1144).
Renewal: The Framework will run for 36 months, with the option to extend for a period of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutional requirements
Supply of Filtration PlasticsPlastics for use in general and specialised filtration. Comprises items such as syring and flask filters.

Supply of Molecular Biology PlasticsProducts for use primarily in molecular biology applications. Includes items such as microtubes and Polymerase Chain Reactions (PCR) plates.
Renewal: The Framework will run for 36 months, with the option to extend for a period of 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance and continued Institutional requirements
Supply of Tissue Culture PlasticsA combination of treated and non-treated plastics for tissue culture applications. Products required include microplates, flasks and syringe filters

Pipettes and TipsLoose, racked, filter, sterile and non-sterile pipette tips for use in the laboratory.

GlovesA variety of gloves used in the laboratory function, inculding but not limited to sterlie, non-sterile, latex, disposable and reusable gloves.

General Laboratory SundriesAny other consumable sundries that may be required for the efficient daily laboratory function. Includes a wide range of items such as needles, storage racks and cleaning products, and a variety of of disposable an reusable plastics for everyday laboratory purposes. A wide range of products is required including items such as test tubes, syringes and petri dishes
