Owned Fleet Maintenance
Notice Description
NHSGG&C require a Contractor to maintain vehicles of various types that are owned by the Board. The Boards owned fleet of vehicles require a Contractor to maintain them to ensure that they are roadworthy and meet all Department of Transport Regulations. The Contract should include:- Scheduled Maintenance. Breakdown Assistance & Maintenance. Vehicle Recovery. MOT's. Vehicle Uplift & Delivery At present the owned vehicle total is 82 of various types/makes & models, it is unlikely that this number will increase but will actually decrease as when vehicles come to the end of their life cycle they will not be replaced by purchasing New but by utilising the Vehicle Leasing Framework. TUG have agreed that a 3 Year Contract with 2 x 12 Month Extension Option should be the Contract Period.

Contractor must confirm provide details of Approved MOT Testers for all the vehicle classes required. 4C.6 9. Contractor must detail their ability to provide a 24/7 Vehicle Recovery Service.4C.9 10. Contractor must detail how they will log all waste associated with the maintenance of the fleet vehicles and provide all details to the Board upon request of what has been taken off-site for disposal, including but not limited to:- parts, tyres, tools, oil, chemicals, used rags & packaging. 4C.7 11. The contractor must detail how they will provide upon request assurance to the Board that appropriate waste licences for removal, transport and disposal of hazardous substances are in place, as part of the Boards duty of care and Environment Management System that ensures Legal Compliance. 4C.7"
