The purpose of this tender is to source FF&E for the new Dumbarton Care Home. West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) have commissioned the construction of a new care home with day care service in Dumbarton. The Care Home shall replace a number of existing care homes and a day care centre in Dumbarton. WDC's Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) (building operator) shall deliver the new care home and day care facility to meet Care Inspectorate's standards and shall provide a building for service users, their relatives and the Council staff with a modern living and working environment which enables better person centered care within more eco-friendly facilities. A well-staffed and equipped "Home for Life" shall be provided for residents and day care users that shall provide access to a range of health and care services including therapeutic and rehabilitative facilities as well as social and recreational activities.
