Summary of the contracting process

River Clyde Homes, a not-for-profit social housing provider based in Greenock, Scotland, is conducting a tender for "Lift Maintenance" services as part of its procurement process, classified under the housing and community amenities industry. The procurement is at the award stage, having been signed on 6th October 2017. The project involves the maintenance of 37 passenger lifts located in both high-rise and low-rise properties within the Inverclyde area. Businesses interested in bidding should note that the contracting authority is actively seeking experienced contractors capable of offering comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and emergency response services for these lifts.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for contractors specialised in lift maintenance and servicing, particularly those with relevant accreditation from the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) or equivalent bodies. Companies that hold the necessary insurance coverages and can demonstrate successful delivery of similar contracts will be well-suited to compete. Additionally, contractors who can deliver community benefits specific to the Inverclyde area may enhance their bid, aligning with the buyer's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility initiatives.
