Vehicle, Driver and Escort

Specialised vehicles (e.g. wheelchair accessible), escorts and / or special equipment may be required.

Renewal: Option to extend for up to a further 12 months, undertaken at the sole discretion of the Council.

Vehicle and Driver - Unescorted

No specialised care, equipment or specialised vehicles required.

Renewal: Option to extend for up to a further 12 months, undertaken at the sole discretion of the Council.

Vehicle, Driver and Escort - Specialised Care

Transportation of vulnerable children and adults. Specialised vehicles (e.g. wheelchair accessible), escorts and / or specialised care and / or special equipment may be required.

Renewal: Option to extend for up to a further 12 months, undertaken at the sole discretion of the Council.

Out of Authority Routes

Transportation of vulnerable children and adults between the City of Edinburgh Council local authority area and locations in other parts of Scotland. Specialised vehicles (e.g. wheelchair accessible), escorts and / or specialised care and / or special equipment may be required.
