Award of MS Exchange 2013 and Skype for Business Implementation
Notice Description
NHS Lanarkshire has a requirement to design and implement an MS Exchange 2013 email environment to replace its current Exchange 2007 installation. The current environment supports approx. 10,000 mailboxes. This contract is for the design and build of the new environment which will be hosted on NHS Lanarkshire's VMware converged infrastructure located at Hairmyres Hospital.NHS Lanarkshire is seeking the provision of the technical architecture and build requirements to support MS Exchange 2013. The build will be done in parallel to the current email system with mailboxes being migrated across.The costed option of solution support should run for a 3 year contract lifecycle with an option to extend month on month thereafter.There is a requirement to include Skype for Business for as part of the overall programme. This will be the standard solution for most users but with a subset of approximately 1000 staff being able to use the enterprise capability such as video conferencing, document collaboration and desktop sharing.It is not anticipated that Skype for Business will integrate with NHS Lanarkshire's telephone system at this stage.
