Notice Description
Medicines included in this framework agreement are generic medicines listed in the British National Formulary (BNF) used to treat cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. The Goods have been split into thirteen (13) categories, each of which is identified as a "Lot". Full details of each Lot is contained in section II.2 of this notice.
Lot Information
Epinephrine (Adrenaline) Pre-filled Syringes
Supply of Epinephrine (Adrenaline) Injections to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each product line as a multi-supplier unranked framework agreement on a line by line basis to an envisaged maximum of 6 Suppliers.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.
Epinephrine (Adrenaline) Auto Injector DevicesSupply of Epinephrine (Adrenaline) Auto Injector Devices to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each product line as a multi-supplier unranked framework agreement on a line by line basis to an envisaged maximum of 6 Suppliers.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.
Fondaparinux Pre-filled SyringesSupply of Fondaparinux Pre-filled Syringes to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each product line as a multi-supplier unranked framework agreement on a line by line basis to an envisaged maximum of 6 Suppliers.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.
All Other Cardiovascular & Respiratory MedicinesSupply of all other Cardiovascular & Respiratory Medicines to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each line within this lot to a single supplier.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire
Urokinase InjectionsSupply of Urokinase Injections to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each product line as a multi-supplier unranked framework agreement on a line by line basis to an envisaged maximum of 6 Suppliers.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire
Diltiazem Hydrochloride Modified Release Capsules and TabletsSupply of Diltiazem Hydrochloride Modified Release Capsules and Tablets to NHS Scotland in a range of presentations. The Authority intended to award each product line as a multi-supplier unranked framework agreement on a line by line basis to an envisaged maximum of 6 Suppliers.

Access to contract pricing required by the designated Homecare company for supply to patients receiving treatment for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension via the Homecare delivery contract.
Renewal: Option to extend by a further period of up to twelve (12) months upon giving not less than three (3) months written notice, such notice to expire no later than the date the framework agreement is due to expire.
