The selected provider will require to evidence and demonstrate proven experience in the support and management of people who present with significant challenging behaviours and will have an established infrastructure that can deliver bespoke interventions that are flexible and will accommodate the unpredictable needs of this group. This may include supine restraint. There may also be a requirement for registered nurses. The Care Provider will be required to be suitably registered with the Care Inspectorate. The contract is likely to be for 7-10 years, with the possibility for an extension in order to maintain continuity of care.
