Notice Description

Tenders are being sought for a number of contracted local bus services between Auchmithie and Stracathro Hospital. The tender will be divided into a number of lots. Operators may bid for as many of these routes as they wish.

Lot Information

A508: Arbroath - Auchmithie (Daily) / Arbroath - Friockheim - Brechin - Stracathro (Mondays to Saturdays)

This lot is for the provision of daily services. Operators should be aware that Angus Council are seeking options from the services referred to below and not all Lots may be awarded. A508 is for the current daily service provision. A509 is for a Monday to Sunday reduced level of service using 1 bus. A510 is for the current Auchmithie/Arbroath Monday to Sunday service A511 is for the current Monday to Saturday A512 is for the current Sunday service. The total value of the lots if awarded is estimated at GBP700000 if the option to extend is taken up.

Renewal: This lot may be extended on an annual basis for up to a further 2 years.
