Notice Description
SXL Framework Agreement(Reference 14-13) Lot 3 - Mini Competition for treatment and disposal of residual waste from street sweepings.Please complete the attached response form (appendix 1) in the blue boxes with respect to the Models below:Model A: Where Falkirk Council delivers material direct to the service provider's treatment facilityModel B: Where material is bulked by Falkirk Council at an agreed collection point and transported onward to a treatment facility by the service provider. Please note that there are two locations for the bulked material (as shown on appendix 1).Further Details:* Approximate monthly tonnages = 300 tonnes (this tonnage varies per month and is not guaranteed)* Duration of call off will be 12 months up 27 April 2018, with option to extend for up to a further 12 months* Under Model B, the maximum sized skip that the Council can load is 30 cubic yards* Model A: The Council will review all responses and, for evaluation purposes, will include associated costs the Council will incur for the delivery of the material to the designated facility* Model B: Evaluation will be based on 100% of the price per tonne* The award will be given under either Model A or Model B whichever response, upon evaluation by Council officers, provides Best Value to the CouncilFalkirk Council reserves the right not to award the serviceTenders received by fax, telex or other similar means other than via the portal will not be accepted.Although Value Added Tax will be paid at the current rate, prices quoted should exclude VAT.Please do not submit your bids on your standard terms. You are being invited to tender because you are an awarded supplier for Lot 3 of Scotland Excel Framework Agreement for the treatment and disposal of residual waste from street sweepings, the terms of which have already been agreed and shall apply. All that is required is completion of the enclosed Appendix 1, in accordance with the enclosed documentation and previously agreed terms.Under Directive 2004/24/18/EC the Partners cannot enter into a Contract on different terms to those agreed in the Framework. If you are unable to accept bidding on the basis of the Framework then we must reject your bid.Framework supplier responses to this mini competition should remain open for acceptance for 90 days following the date specified for the return of tenders.There is no obligation on Falkirk Council to place any competitive order as a result of this mini competition process.Please complete the separately attached Pricing Schedule (appendix 1) as directed in full with consideration given to the above.
