Lot 1
South Lanarkshire Council (the Council) wish to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to provide an events management service including the production, delivery and management of the Council's programme of staged Christmas celebrations. . The six Christmas Lights Switch On Events 2017 will be held in the following towns on the dates as noted below: . - Lanark - Saturday 18th November 2017 - East Kilbride Village - Sunday 19th November 2017 - Carluke - Friday 24th November 2017 - Hamilton - Saturday 25th November 2017 - Rutherglen - Saturday 2nd December 2017 - Cambuslang - Sunday 3rd December 2017 . The funding available for each Event is 7500 GBP, with the exception of Hamilton which is set at 12000 GBP (49500 GBP per annum in total) with all costs for the provision of the events to be included in this sum. The full requirements for the 2017 Christmas events are detailed within the tender documents. Future requirements will be discussed directly with the successful bidder. . Events are guaranteed for year 1 of the contract only and thereafter will be subject to budget availability. . The contract period will be 3 years with the option to extend for up to 2 years.
Renewal: Optional extension of up to 24 months
