The Council is seeking to work with a Contractor to award a service concession contract to deliver a Bus Shelter Advertising Contract, with the option to provide cleaning and maintenance services. The Council is seeking a Contractor for the duration of the Contract. The Council invites tenders for the Provision of Bus Shelter Advertising in accordance with the Invitation to Tender and associated documents. This is a Concession Contract. The Council currently has the following advertising shelters located within the Council area. All shelters are owned by the Council. - Bus Shelter Advertising : This Contract includes 200 bus shelters that display advertising. The current contract for the 200 advertising shelters detailed above will expire on 30 June 2017. - Discovery Bus Shelters: 6 Bespoke Shelters in Gauze Street, Paisley Town Centre These Bespoke Shelters have space for advertising but no current contract is in place. All types of shelters detailed above have mains power. The existing advertising displays are either two single sided display panels or one double sided advertising panel and all are six sheet size. It is expected that the Advertising Contractor will upgrade, at their own expense, the advertising panel(s) during the period of the Contract with the agreement of the Council. This includes the use of rolling displays or digital panels. At the end of the Contract the panel will remain a fixed part of the bus shelter and the property of the Council, including any ancillary equipment. Advertising for all shelters listed above will apply in this Contract. Tenderers will provide a price for two options within the Pricing Schedule: Option 1 - Advertising Only Option 2 - Advertising, with cleaning, maintenance and repair. The Council reserves the right to increase the number of advertising shelters over the period of the Contract and agree income. This is a Concession Contract.
