Notice Description

The Contract primarily involves the replacement of existing kitchen fittings, consumer service units and extract fans throughout Barrhead and Neilston. The Contract will be undertaken over two phases of work, with the Year One properties being undertaken in August and September 2017, and Year 2 properties commencing on 3rd April 2018.The 2017 works will be undertaken in post-2000 modern terraced and semi-detached houses and blocks of flats at Rankin Way, Barrhead, which was a new build housing development completed in 2001.The 2018 works will mainly be undertaken on modern three and four storey new build flatted properties, also completed in 2001, at Centenary Court, Barrhead. However, the 2018 works will also include older post-war terraced and semi-detached housing in Neilston.The Year One (2017) works will consist of kitchen replacements and extract fans to approximately forty-two (42) properties. The Year Two (2018) works will consist of kitchen replacements, and also where required extract fans, ring mains, electrical mainsboards and isolators, to forty-eight (48) properties.
