Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process titled "Shop & Exhibition - Design, Build & Refurbishment 2017" is being initiated by Historic Environment Scotland (HES), located in Edinburgh, UK. This process is currently at the active tender stage and involves design and construction services to refurbish shops and create new exhibitions across HES properties. The total value of the contract is £230,000, with a submission deadline of 4th July 2017. The procurement method employed is a selective procedure, inviting bids for two distinct lots: Lot 1 for design services and Lot 2 for build services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the construction and design sectors. Companies specialising in architectural design, project management, and construction services would be particularly well-suited to compete for this project. By participating, they can not only secure contracts for refurbishing historical sites but also potentially establish long-term relationships with Historic Environment Scotland, leading to more projects in the future. The contract may be extended after the initial period, creating further growth possibilities for successful bidders.
