Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process for "The Provision of Architectural Services to SRUC" is being conducted by SRUC (Scotland's Rural College), located at Kings Buildings, West Mains Road, Edinburgh, with a postal code of EH9 3JG. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on education and consultancy related to capital projects. Currently in the Award stage, the process is governed by an open procedure and was initiated on 29th September 2017, with a tender period that was originally scheduled to close on 17th July 2017, later amended to 19th July 2017. The expected value of the contract is approximately £1,000,000.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for architectural firms, particularly those that specialise in educational and consultancy services. With SRUC anticipating an increase in capital projects, businesses with a track record of successful architectural service delivery and compliance with regulations are urged to compete. Ideal candidates will be registered architects with robust quality management and health and safety procedures, as well as financial stability indicated by a minimum average yearly turnover of £2,000,000. This contract allows successful bidders to establish or enhance long-term partnerships with SRUC, aimed at optimising built assets and delivering value for money through a selected architect’s framework.

The Provision of Architectural Services to SRUC

Notice Description

With the quantity of estates capital projects expected to increase within the next few years, SRUC has considered the best approach to resourcing projects.
