Controlled Car Parking Enforcement
Notice Description
In common with many large public and private sector organisations the University generates a significant amount of travel both from commuting and business travel associated with the operational running of the University. Despite efforts to encourage the use of sustainable travel a proportion of the travel associated with the University is still necessarily conducted by car. Fair and considered management of car parking facilities is required to ensure staff, students and visitors can access the University efficiently and safely. Information on current parking control and enforcement measures can be found at: www.abdn.ac.uk/estates/supportservices/car-parking/ The University recognises the need to manage a controlled car parking regime in line with the British Parking Associations (BPA) code of practice while not incurring excessive costs, and is therefore seeking an efficient, high quality parking control service.
