Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves the North Lanarkshire Council as the buying organisation, seeking contractors for the "Rewiring of Cardinal Newman High School, Bellshill (Phased Works)" project, which falls under the works category within the education and public services sectors. Located in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, the tender is currently in the active stage. The deadline for submissions is set for 21st July 2017, and this project, with a total value of £2,300,000, will commence upon the award of the contract post-tendering period, which is stipulated to begin on the same date.

This opportunity can facilitate business growth for companies specialised in electrical installations, particularly those with experience in educational facilities. Businesses equipped to address environmental management standards and quality assurance schemes, and those holding necessary certifications in electrical contracting will have a competitive edge. Given the phased nature of the works, firms that are adept at managing ongoing operations within live school environments will be particularly well-suited to bid for this contract.
