Measured Term Contract for the Statutory Compliance and Reactive Repairs to various types and manufacture of Powered Pedestrian Access Doors throughout the Councils estate.

Lot 1
The works required under this contract will be as follows; ~ To carry out surveys of all identified Powered Pedestrian Doors and provide written reports to the Council on the functionality and condition of the mechanical, electrical and architectural components of these doors. ~ Put in place, and carry out, a programme of regular inspection and maintenance of all identified Powered Pedestrian Doors. ~ Provide a reactive repairs service and respond to any malfunctions, breakdowns etc. within the timescales as detailed within the contract documents. ~ Supply and install replacement parts when authorised by the Council. Planned and reactive maintenance to Powered Pedestrian Doors to be in accordance with BS EN 16005 and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, most up to date edition, to achieve statutory compliance. The types of Powered Pedestrian Doors that the contractor would require to maintain and repair include (but not limited to) Bi-Folding, Revolving, Sliding and Swing. The manufacturers of these doors include (but not limited to) Besam/Assa Abloy, Boon Edam, Ditec, Dorma, FAAC, GEZE, Ingersoll Rand and Record.. The annual value of this contract is not known but the maximum total value of this contract will not exceed GBP181,000.00.
Renewal: The Council will have, at its sole discretion, the option to extend the contract for additional periods up to a maximum contract period of 3 years. The length of any extension periods applied will be determined by the Council but the total of the additional periods will not exceed 24 months.
