Notice Description

The Forestry Commission awarded a Framework Agreement for The Supply of Mechanised Tree Harvesters and Forwarders including associated Parts for service and repair with delivery across Scotland and England.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Forestry Commission awarded a Framework Agreement for The Supply of Mechanised Tree Harvesters and Forwarders including associated Parts for service and repair with delivery across Scotland and England. The duration of the Framework Agreement shall be for 3 years plus an option to extend for a further 1 year at our discretion and will be based on the following factors: performance of Machines, budget availability, value for money and delivery to specification. The value of the Framework Agreement has been estimated at no more than 11,000,000 GBP excluding VAT, split approximately 68%/32% between Scotland and England. --- This multi-supplier framework agreement was not split into Lots, either geographically or by product as all bidders will be expected to deliver to both countries and maintaining two lots for the same requirement would introduce an unreasonable complexity to the contracting authority.. All pricing is exclusive of VAT. -- Any costs not included were presumed to be waived. -- FC used PCS-Tender, project code; 8625: http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/info/InfoCentre.aspx?ID=2343 -- Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: An option to extend for a further 1 year at our sole discretion.
