Managed support services; CYP with ASN; and Family Support Volunteer Service
Notice Description
Two services are required to help build confidence and resilience within families throughout Edinburgh. There is a clear requirement for a preventative, systemic service which supports children and family from early years to high school. A wide range of factors may lead to some children and young people having a need for additional support. These fall broadly into the four overlapping themes: learning environment, family circumstances including English as an Additional Language, disability or health need, and social and emotional factors.
Lot Information
Managed support services; Children and Young People with Additional Support Needs
The Provider(s) shall provide services that complement Council and NHS Services to address barriers to learning that are identified through child planning process in universal services 0-18 years (Health Visitors, early years and schools). Please refer to all Additional Information documents included within this ITT.
Family Support Volunteer ServiceThe provider will recruit, train and support volunteers from the community to make appropriate provision to parents and carers in crisis who have children aged 0-12 years. The service will be made available 52 weeks per year including weekend, evenings and school holidays as appropriate to the needs of the family..
