Notice Description

Moray Council wish to create a single supplier framework for specific works to a seawall in Lossiemouth. Whilst the budget for this year is GBP 80,000.00, future funding is not guaranteed.

Lot Information

Lot 1

A masonry revetment and crest wall provides coastal protection to the seafront at the east side of the town of Lossiemouth on the Moray Firth. The condition of the pointing on the revetment and the crest wall varies along its length. The condition of a section of the wall at Pitgaveny Street, which is approximately 120m in length is consider to be poor with a significant percentage loose, damaged or missing. The Council Wishes to appoint a single supplier framework to perform the repairs necessary for this financial year, and also for future years dependant on budgetary allocation.

Options: Additional works to the seawall will be required in the future, however this will be subject to budget allocation. The successful supplier will work with the authority for future requirements until such time as repairs are complete. Please note that there is no guarantee of any future works.
