Stirling Council seeks suitably qualified providers to carry out Repairs to the external envelope of a late 19th century category C listed (5) storey building in Stirling city centre. The works will include repairs to existing sash and case windows and piecemeal repair works to roofs, lead work, stone, brickwork and rainwater goods. The purpose of the project is to provide longevity to an aged building in need of urgent and recommended repairs. The contractor should ensure that they can complete the project safely and within the given timescale. The contractor should include all allowances for overtime within their tender in order for the project to be completed within the timescale provided. The SBCC Standard Building Contract with Quantities for use in Scotland 2011 edition will apply to this contract. It is anticipated the Contract Period will be from 13th November 2017 to 30th March 2018.
