The Gardner Memorial Church (GMC) in Brechin wish to appoint an Advanced Level RIAS Accredited Conservation Architect to supervise essential fabric repairs to the church buildings and assist with associated funding applications.. Designed by Sir John James Burnet in 1896, this a Category 'A' Listed building in the Arts and Crafts style located within the Brechin Conservation Area subject to the principles of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1997. The building is also covered by the 'Ecclesiastical Exemption Scheme' agreed between the Church of Scotland andHistoric Environment Scotland.
