Sheriff Officer Services
Notice Description
The Council has a requirement to provide Sheriff Officer Services across various services including Enterprise and Housing Resources and Legal Services. The scope of this contract will include services contained within the Act of Sederunt (Fees of Sheriff Officers)(No.2) 2002(SSI 2002/567) and any other service required by the Authority that Sheriff Officers are capable of executing. The framework would be expected to primarily operate within Scotland and the central belt, however, there may be occasion when services will be required throughout the UK and also internationally The Council operates within the jurisdiction of two courts, Hamilton and Airdrie Sheriff Courts, the framework has subsequently been divided into two lots. The services include but is not be restricted to: -Service or intimation of Documents -Ejection -Citation -Diligence -Charges for Payment -Earnings Arrestment -Attachment -Auction -Arrestment -Inhibition -Foreign citation -Tracing and enquiries -Pre-sue reporting
Lot Information
Lot 1 - Hamilton
Sheriff officer services within the jurisdiction of Hamilton Sheriff Court. Fees must conform to the Act of Sederunt (Fees of Sheriff Officers)(No.2) 2002(SSI 2002/567). Services to be provided by a Member of the Society of Messengers-at-Arms & Sheriff Officers. . NOTE FOR BIDDERS ON EXCLUSION GROUNDS . Providers may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: Following initial 2 year period, the framework may be extended for two, one year extension periods.
Lot 2 - AirdrieSheriff officer services within the jurisdiction of Airdrie Sheriff Court. Fees must conform to the Act of Sederunt (Fees of Sheriff Officers)(No.2) 2002(SSI 2002/567).
