Route optimisation package (software and hardware) for use by Highland Council vehicles
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Highland Council intends to purchase a route optimisation package (including software and hardware) for use by Highland Council vehicles. This will be primarily for use by Waste Collection vehicles, at least initially, but may also be used by other vehicles e.g. street cleansing, gully emptying, gritting, etc. The system is to include route planning software, in-vehicle tracking devices and in-cab display equipment. The Highland Council has secured EU match funding for this project through ERDF (the European Regional Development Fund).. Expressions of interest are invited from interested parties.
