Notice Description
Calmac Ferries Ltd wishes to enter into a contract for the supply of compass adjusting services for the 34 vessels in our fleet. In the future there will be a requirement to carry out compass adjusting on two additional vessels which are currently under construction.
Lot Information
Lot 1
CalMac Ferries Ltd wish to enter into an agreement for Compass Adjusting services. These services shall include the supply of a new deviation card and certification per vessel. Compasses on new vessels will be checked after a period of no more than one year from entering service due to change in the ship's magnetism, or at the next docking. Compass repair, if required, will include the repair and re-certification of a vessel's compass. Calmac Ferries' vessel crew will despatch the compass to the successful tenderer for repair. The successful tenderer shall return the repaired compass to the relevant vessel. The agreement shall run for an initial two year period. At the end of which and subject to agreement of both parties, will continue for a period not exceeding two further periods of up to 12 months.. Not applicable.
