This provider has served notice of withdrawal and Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership are exploring opportunities to continue to deliver the service from the current locations in Johnstone and Paisley. The aims and objectives of the service include, \"to support individuals to gain skills to allow them to develop and progress...in the following areas: employment, education, independent living, health/social lifestyle\". (Care Inspectorate Report - Inspection 9 February 2017) The current service at the Whitehaugh Centre in Paisley provides an opportunity for individuals to access education and learning opportunities, keep healthy and take part in leisure and recreation activities; The service located at West Lane Gardens in Johnstone aims to provide access to employment and training opportunities as well as access to volunteering opportunities and health education. Across the two services a total of 47 people are currently supported. Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership are currently undertaking a review of individual needs and following assessment individuals will be offered a Self Directed Support budget. This may impact on the number of people attending the services and Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership cannot give any guarantee in respect of service uptake.
