Disposal of Roadworks Materials
Notice Description
The services of a suitably qualified Contractor to collect Roadworks material from the Thornliebank Depot, 190 Carnwadric Road, Thornliebank, G46 8HR. The annual tonnage associated with this operation is approximately 7000 tonnes; however the Council cannot guarantee this tonnage because of the indefinite nature of the operation which leads to these arisings. The arisings consist of approximately the following materials- Concrete kerbs / concrete / tarmac / granular material etc., amounting to around 6000 tonnes per annum and a mixture of soil and verge scrapings etc., amounting to around 1000 tonnes per annum. Bidders should note that the approx. annual value is GDP40,000pa. The total contract value will be approx. GDP80,000 however if the option to extend is taken the approx. contract will now be GDP120,000.
