Notice Description
NHS GG&C covers almost 400 different locations across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. NHS GG&C requires a transport service to move staff, patients, visitors & urgent packages around NHS GG&C sites & further afield. All NHS GG&C areas require to be covered by a suitable service provider that will support this transport requirement. The overall objective of the contract is to provide NHS GG&C with a service to transport passengers and urgent packages in a timely, efficient & economic manner. Availability & service punctuality service is essential. NHS GG&C's expected requirement is approximately 111,000 journeys per annum. Journeys stated below are for indication only and are not binding on NHS GG&C. Below shows each Lot, area and approximate journeys per month. Lot 1: Glasgow North and East Dunbartonshire: 4,000; Lot 2: Glasgow South and South Lanarkshire: 4,000; Lot 3: Renfrewshire: 500; Lot 4: Inverclyde: 300; Lot 5: Blood Transport (Board-wide): 450.
