The Digital Office for Scottish Local Government works in partnership with Scotland's local authorities helping to drive digital transformation across the country. Scotland Excel and the Digital Office are engaging in an initial information sharing and Q&A exercise to ensure that the marketplace understand the approach being taken. The Foundation Projects includes the following areas: Cloud, Cyber Security, GDPR Readiness, Network Review, Better Use of Data, Common Platforms, Mobile & Flexible Working & Supply Chain & Procurement. Project briefs have been developed to outline the aims and of objectives of each and the supplier market will benefit from a greater understanding of anticipated activity in these areas. It will also provide the digital office with an opportunity to outline and explain the need to move toward delivering a more outcome based approach to solutions using agile methods. The first point of contact for the market place will be a webinar held in January 2018.
