NAC/2112 Service, Maintenance & Repair of Passenger, Platform & Goods Lifts
Notice Description
The Contract comprises the Service, Maintenance and Repair of Passenger, Platform and Goods Lifts. The nature of the work envisaged within the term contract relates to both the planned inspection, servicing, testing and certification, and to reactive and emergency repairs of passenger, platform and goods lifts. The maintenance contract shall include for a 24 hour emergency call-out service, 365 days per year. However it is anticipated that the vast majority of call-outs will be during normal working hours as most properties, with the exception of the high rise flats and sheltered housing units, operate around a traditional five-day working week. The location of the works is within the boundaries of North Ayrshire Council, including the islands of Arran and Cumbrae Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) -It is requirement of this contract that all persons responsible for and who will be carrying out this service must have membership of the above Trade / Professional body.
