Notice Description
The CARES Consortium is seeking to appoint suppliers to a framework to provide community engagement and related services, split into 3 lots and for use as defined in the ITT
Lot Information
Community Profiles and Action Planning
The provision of community and stakeholder engagement services, as outlined at Schedule 2 of the ITT. To enable communities to maximize the impact from community benefit funds or identify local energy opportunities the Supplier will undertake desk based research and community consultation activities to develop publically available community profiles and action plans.
Renewal: The Framework will operate across Scotland until March 2020 with an option to extend for a further two one year periods subject to written mutual agreement between EST and the Framework Supplier.
Supporting Community Responses to Energy and Income OpportunitiesThe provision of community and stakeholder engagement services, as outlined at Schedule 2 of the ITT. The Supplier will work with, and build capacity within, communities to help them respond effectively to new energy and income opportunities. The Supplier will also work with relevant stakeholders to identify and engage with the community that will benefit from the energy/ income opportunity.
Renewal: The Framework will operate across Scotland until March 2020 with an option to extend for a further two one year periods subject to written mutual agreement between EST and the Framework Supplier.
Facilitating Consensus on Community Fund Governance and StrategyThe provision of community and stakeholder engagement services, as outlined at Schedule 2 of the ITT. The Supplier will help communities by assisting them to build consensus on the appropriate governance structures, negotiate on formal agreements and adopt appropriate community strategies (eg for fund distribution).
Renewal: The Framework will operate across Scotland until March 2020 with an option to extend for a further two one year periods subject to written mutual agreement between EST and the Framework Supplier.
