Aberdeen City Council require the provision of Supported Living Services for people who have a learning disability and need assistance to live independently. Supported Living Services are registered as Care at Home and Housing Support services and may be linked to designated accommodation for people who require support for up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to live independently in their own tenancy or be provided to people assessed as needing fewer hours of essential support to remain within a more independent form of living. The Service may include the provision of personal care, personal support and housing support and may be provided in the person's own homes, or in other places as required A Framework was established following a previous tender published on 5 October 2017. In order to meet strategic need the decision has been taken to reopen the Framework from 1 April 2018. Providers who were successful in joining the framework from 1 January 2018, need not reapply.

Enhanced Supported Living Services for Adults with a Learning Disability

Enhanced Supported Living Service will only be commissioned for adults whose assessed needs, including complex health or behavioural needs, have identified a requirement for such a service Provision of Enhanced Supported Living may include robust, intensive and frequent interventions and strategies which seek to maintain and develop a person's health, wellbeing and safety. This Service may also require the provision of support which is; required by legal powers, agreed guidelines or required to promote public safety.. Dates provided for duration of initial contract. The is the potential for two one year extensions. The value provided is for the initial contract plus the potential extension.

Supported Living Services for Adults with a Learning Disability

The services will be registered with the Care Inspectorate as Care at Home and Housing Support services. The services are those linked to designated supported and sheltered accommodations for people who may require support up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to live independently in their own tenancy. They may also include visiting floating support services which provide people assessed as needing fewer hours of essential support to enable them to remain within a more independent form of living. Supported Living Services are holistic in nature, providing individuals with support in various aspects of their lives to enable them to have more meaningful involvement and participation in their local communities. The service may include the provision of personal care, personal support and housing support and may be provided in the person's own homes, or in other places as required.. Dates provided for duration of initial contract. There will be the option of two potential one year extensions. The value given is for the duration of the initial contract plus potential extensions.
