Notice of Award for the provision of a Community based Housing Support Service which will assist people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness and in identified housing need.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Scottish Borders Council Homelessness and Financial Support provide information, advice and assistance to households who are homeless or at risk of losing their accommodation. Homelessness and Financial Support includes the following teams: Homelessness Case Officers; Housing Management; and Housing Support. Short term Housing Support Services can be defined as services which aim to develop a service user's capacity to maintain and sustain a tenancy following the completion of an agreed programme of support. Support will be provided to service users who have been assessed by the Council to be in need of short term housing support services in accordance with the Housing Support Services (Homelessness) (Scotland) Regulations 2012 and Section 32B of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 inserted by Housing (Scotland) Act 2010).. It is considered that this service is covered by the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 under the "light touch" Regime.
