ATTG project officer
Notice Description
The Argyll Timber Transport Group meets bi-annually and provides for liaison between the forestry sector and Argyll and Bute Council to resolve challenging timber transport issues. The Project Officer post is jointly funded by the Strategic Timber Transport Scheme (STTS), Argyll and Bute Council and private sector members of the Argyll Timber Transport Group (ATTG). The Project Officer is required to facilitate meetings and prepare briefing papers in addition to representing the group at meetings with public and private sector partners when required. The full meetings of the group are normally chaired by the ATTG chairman, but the Project Officer will be expected to organise and chair additional meetings which may need to be held on timber transport related topics.
