Lot Information
Lot 1
LHC is re-procuring its NH1 Framework for offsite housing for the public sector. The primary aim of the framework is to deliver housing, apartments, multi-occupancy buildings including care homes, sheltered accommodation and student accommodation. The Framework will be open for use by all public sector organizations including local authorities and registered providers. A list of eligible organizations is available at www.lhc.gov.uk/24 The Framework is currently split into 3 workstreams: -- Workstream 1 Volumetric Systems, -- Workstream 2 Panelized Systems, -- Workstream 3 Construction using offsite systems. Each workstream was offered across various geographical regions across the UK. It is proposed that the revised framework will also be split into regional lots to encourage SME's to apply. The previous framework had lots covering the following areas: Southwest England, Southeast England, London, Midlands, Northern England, Wales and Scotland. The Framework was also divided by project size, and whether the project was a low or high rise project. The format of the lots for the new framework will be decided after pretender engagement. It is proposed the new framework will cover the following areas: 1. main contractor services for delivering offsite systems; 2. manufacturers who only want to offer supply and installation of offsite systems; 3. consortiums or groups who can deliver main contractor service for off-site systems; 4, delivery of modular houses; 5. delivery of apartments and multi-occupancy buildings; 6. delivery of rooftop units; 7. delivery of a range of size of projects from small infill sites to larger projects.
