Notice Description
The purpose of this procurement exercise was to appoint a range of capable, best value contractors for the supply of Library Security and Self Service Equipment and Maintenance. The scope of this procurement covers the supply of Library Security and Self Service Equipment and Maintenance including but not limited to provision of: - Timely installation of all required hardware and software functionality and upgrades; - All associated software licensing and or equivalent model of service delivery; - Support and Maintenance in line with contractual Service Level obligations; This procurement exercise was for the award of up to three lots as detailed below: Lot1 - One Stop Shop (Security and Self Service Equipment with Maintenance)for award up to a maximum of three suppliers; Lot2 - Self Service Laptop Charging Locker(S)for award up to a maximum of three suppliers; Lot3 - Self Check-out App Design for award up to a maximum of three suppliers;

Self Service Laptop Loan Charging Locker(s)
Lot two - Self Service Laptop Charging Locker(s) and associated services for Universities and Colleges in Scotland, including provision of all software, installation, maintenance and training. Successful Contractors are required to supply, install, commission, service, support and maintain equipment for self service laptop charging lockers. This agreement will be open to members of Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC Ltd) and the following members of the UK Universities Procurement Consortia (UKUPC), and associated member institutions: London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW) Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC). Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: Two periods of twelve (12) months at the sole discretion of the Authority
Self Check-out App DesignLot three - Self Check-out App Design and associated services for Universities and Colleges in Scotland, including provision of all software, installation, maintenance and training.
