RCH are looking to procure a suitably experienced and competent company to undertake Asbestos Surveying, Sampling & Analytical Services.

Lot 1
River Clyde Homes is a 'not for profit' affordable housing provider that owns and manages over 5,800 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2,200 homes in the Inverclyde area. We hold the Investor's In People Gold standard, and employ over 250 members of staff, including 58 specialist trades operatives. RCH require to procure an experienced and competent contractor to undertake Asbestos Surveying, Sampling & Analytical Services. The contract value specified within this contract award notice is the anticipated spend across the lifecycle of the contract. Due to the reactive nature of the services tendered for, it is not possible for RCH to stipulate the exact value which may be generated from this contract.
Renewal: The contract will run for an initial 2 year duration. RCH reserve the right, at its sole discretion to extend any resultant agreement for up to a further 2, 12 month periods.

"description": "ESPD Question 4C.1.2 - Bidders require to provide three examples of the successful delivery of contracts (carried out in the last 3 years) that are close in nature and scope to RCH's requirement. Bidders require to describe the scope of the contracts, what their responsibilities are / were, what the scale of the contract was (size of housing stock etc), and how they have performed within the contract. Bidders will also be required to provide written references from two of the three clients listed along with their ESPD response. The references should provide a summary of the works undertaken and indicate the clients own satisfaction levels with the quality of service they received. Bidders who simply provide the company name, value and date will fail in this element. (Worth 40% of ESPD Score) 4C.2 - Bidders are required to provide details of all of the employees (operatives and managerial staff) who would be responsible for servicing the RCH contract in the event of a successful tender. Each staff members core skills, relevant qualifications (BOHS P401 - P407; S301) and length and detail of on site experience should be provided. (Worth 30% of ESPD Score) 4C.3 - Bidders are required to provide details of the laboratory that will be used for sampling of the asbestos materials. Bidder's should state how the laboratory performed in the most recent rounds of both the 'Asbestos in Materials' (AIMS) and the 'Regular Inter-laboratory Counting Exchange' (RICE) schemes. (Worth 30% of ESPD Score) 4C.10 - Bidders are required to confirm whether they intend to subcontract and, if so, for what proportion of the contract. Bidders should remember if they are sub-contracting any of the core services, then their sub-contractor require to also complete and submit an ESPD (Info only) 4D.1 - Bidders require to confirm whether they are able to produce certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting that the bidder holds a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO/IEC 17020:2012 And Bidders require to confirm whether they are able to produce certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting that the bidder holds a UKAS (or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001 (or equivalent) or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction-related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum.
