The Client will reserve the right to extend the agreement thereafter for an additional period of 12 months. It is envisaged that the three Contractors scoring highest following the overall price and quality evaluation will be appointed to the Framework. It is the intention of Trust Housing Association that all work orders raised under this Framework Agreement will be allocated to the bidder most competitive on price and quality overall, who will thereafter be designated as the 'Preferred Contractor'. The bidders finishing in 2nd and 3rd place overall following the tender evaluation process shall be appointed to the Framework in these positions in a 'back-up' capacity in the event that the Preferred Contractor does not perform to the required standards or have the capacity to complete works within the Client's timescales at any point over the course of the Framework Agreement. Should this situation arise, the client reserves the right to utilise the other Framework Contractors to complete any non-performing Contractor's works orders. Notwithstanding the above, appointment to the framework does not guarantee that orders will be placed with any provider.",

In response to 4C.6.1: Bidders will be required to confirm that all supervisors must be trade qualified to NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have supervisory qualifications such as SSSTS. All supervisors and operatives engaged in site works must have current UKATA asbestos awareness training. In response to 4C.10: Bidders will be required to confirm they will not sub contract the works. In response to 4D.1 (1.1 and 1.2) - Quality Assurance Schemes and Environmental Management Standards - The bidder must hold a UKAS(or equivalent)accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS EN ISO9001(or equivalent), AND the bidder must hold a UKAS(or equivalent), accredited independent third party certificate of compliance in accordance with BS OHSAS 18001(or equivalent)or have, within the last 12 months, successfully met the assessment requirements of a construction related scheme in registered membership of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP)forum. If no certification is available specify which other means of proof concerning the quality assurance schemes can be provided and provide this information. 4D.2 (2.1 and 2.2) The bidder must hold a UKAS (or equivalent) accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS EN ISO 14001(or equivalent)or a valid EMAS(or equivalent)certificate. If no certification is available specify which other means of proof concerning the quality assurance schemes can be provided and provide this information. If the Bidder cannot fulfill all of the above requirements they should not complete the ESPD or ITT documentation. Unsatisfactory responses to Section D will result in a failure score."
